Tamara recieved her BS in Biology from The Ohio State University in 2015. Her desire to work with plants was solidifying in an undergraduate experience working with Dr. Ana Alonso focusing on metabolomics and fluxomics in plants. Specifically, her project related soybean biomass composition to ecotype and environment. Tamara is driven to pursuing an industry resaech career studying the biochemistry and molecular biology of plants and their implications in industrial, environmental, agricultural, and pharmaceutical areas.
