Dr. Patrice Hamel is an assoicate professor in the Department of Molecular Genetics, and a member of the Translational Plant Sciences Graduate Studies Committee. Dr. Hamel's lab uses Arabidopsis thaliana and Chlamydomonas reinhardtii as experimental systems to explore membrane systems in chloroplasts and mitochondria specialized in the transduction of energy.
