TPS Fellows Compete in the Horticulture and Crop Science Graduate Research Symposium

TPS Fellows Katie D'Amico-Willman and Rachel Combs hold their certificates after placing second in the Horticulture and Crop Science Graduate Research Symposium.

The Translational Plant Sciences Graduate Program is please to announce that TPS Fellows Katie D'Amico-Willman and Rachel Combs both placed in the annual Horticulture and Crop Science Graduate Research Symposium. Katie took second place in the poster competition with her poster titled DNA-(de)methylation status is associated with divergent exhibition of non-infection bud failure, and age-related disorder, in twin almonds (Prunus dulcis). Rachel took second place in the PhD Flash Talks with her presentation titled Discovery and validation of pennycress fatty acid biosynthesis genes for oil enhancement. Congratulations both outstanding students!
