TPS Fellow Irene Gentzel recently published her first first-author paper in Plant Physiology.  To be included in the upcoming Biotic Stress Focus Issue, her paper titled “A simple method for measuring apoplast hydration and collecting apoplast contents” outlines a method she developed to determine water content in plant leaf intercellular spaces.  Additionally, this method can be useful for isolating plant microbes and other apoplast contents.
