The Translational Plant Sciences Graduate Program is proud to announce that three of our fellows were recently awarded funding through the OARDC Research Enhancement Competitive Grants Program.  TPS grant recipients include:

Katie D’Amico – Katie received funding to support her research exploring the impact of aging on perennial plants, with a specific focus on non-infectious bud failure in almond.

Stephanie Karhoff – Stephanie received funding to support her research exploring soybean resistance to Phytophthora root and stem rot.

Alex Turo – Alex received funding to support his work exploring how bacterial pathogens cause “water-soaking” syndrome in plants.
