Ashley Yates-Stewart received her BS in Biology at Illinois College in Jacksonville, IL in May 2010. She completed a MS in Entomology with Dr. Nick Miller at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2014. Ashley's MS research focused on RNA interference as a tool for the functional analysis of genes in the Colorado potato beetle. As a TPS student, Ashley completed two rotations and joined Dr. Andy Michel’s laboratory, where her research focuses on the molecular interaction between soybean aphid biotypes and aphid-resistant soybean.
